Abstract - Uptime Institute’s Tier Gap Analysis is a comprehensive single review of design documents that identifies any gaps that exist that would prevent a data center from delivering the levels of performance as defined by the Tier Standard of Topology. This analysis applies the performance principles and metrics found in the Tier Standard of Topology to existing data centers or under construction data center projects.
